Thiamethoxam 1% + Chlorantraniliprole 0.5% GR is a broad-spectrum insecticide available in granular formulation which has two effective active ingredients. Thiamethoxam is a neonicotinoid that is systemic in nature and Chlorantraniliprole is a diamide that disrupts calcium ion regulation in muscle cells, causing paralysis in insects. This dual-action formulation protects plants against a wide range of soil and early-stage foliar pests.

Mode of Action:

Thiamethoxam acts by binding to insect neuronal nicotinic acetylcholine receptors, leading to hyperexcitation, paralysis, and death of the pest. Simultaneously, Chlorantraniliprole activates ryanodine receptors in insect muscles, causing unregulated calcium release, muscle contraction, and rapid feeding cessation. The granule formulation enables effective delivery to the root zone, where systemic uptake ensures protection of the entire plant from below-ground and early foliar feeders.
