BARREK is a systemic herbicide containing 10% Bispyribac Sodium in suspension concentrate (SC) form. It is highly effective in controlling a broad spectrum of weeds, particularly in paddy fields. Mode of Action:
Bispyribac Sodium inhibits acetolactate synthase (ALS), an enzyme involved in the biosynthesis of essential branched-chain amino acids in plants. By blocking ALS, BARREK halts the growth of weed meristems, leading to chlorosis and eventual death.
