It is a contact and systemic insecticide used to control different pests in crops, particularly in rice (paddy).
Mode of action:
Dinotefuran: It is a neonicotinoid insecticide that disrupts the nervous system of insects by interfering with nerve transmission, which leads to paralysis of the insect and eventually death. Pymetrozine: An insecticide that stops feeding in sap-sucking insects like aphids and whiteflies. It works by breaking the nerve signals, which causes the insects to stop feeding and eventually die.Key features:
- Dual mode of action: Combines the effects of both Dinotefuran and Pymetrozine which provides broad-spectrum control of pests.
- Contact and systemic: The insecticide works both by direct contact with pests and by being absorbed into the plant tissue, which offers internal protection.
- Target pests: Effective against brown plant hopper (BPH), green leaf hopper, white-backed plant hopper and rice ear head bug.
- Crops: Primarily used in paddy crops.
